    I'm Cherokee/Choctaw and my husband is Cherokee/Apache. So our son is diverse LOL. I spent more time with my Lakota cousins growing up though. I love how our genetics have come out in my son. He has my German coloring and dark chocolate brown eyes like his dad.

    My Cherokee heritage has been traced to Sequoyah on my father's side. Not traced on my mother's side but my Grandmother had enough Cherokee that she did not have to shave her legs. I have lived with the Sioux on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota when I was a child.

    I lived there as small child! Several of my cousins still live out that way.
