Hi Everybody!

I just recently joined the fitness pal at the request of coworkers, but I’ve only just recently started to really use the website.

I started out on July 20, 2007 being banded, and I’m down to 167 from 250. My end goal is somewhere around 150.

I signed on today to read the forums, because I’m frustrated about not eating the right foods, especially missing the most important meal of the day, Breakfast. I have now just realized that taking control of my calories is a sure way to know exactly what’s being put into my body which reflects my weight loss goal.

I was banded almost four years ago, but have struggled to get into the shape and feel the best that I can be. Cliché right, but the truth. I hope that by using this site more, I can see what I’m lacking in my weight loss and exercise regime, and pick up and go from where I sit right now.

Feel free to give me advice, and friend me.

    My mom has the lap band as well. Maybe you can friend her and be some inspiration? mtusek is her screen name.
  • Clair welcome to the most motivating site I know. I am waiting to have the sleeve surgury in the next two months. I started at 265 and have worked down to 230. I am glad to hear that the surguries though not the same help take off the bigest part of the weight and the rest is done with hard work. I know you will make your goal and we know this is not a diel but a life style change.
