Hey everyone..
I have a quick question.. ive just recieved my new elliptical and guess what.. it doesnt come with the power cable.. so it says on the machine
6V regulated
2 Amp Minimum
now my question is... do i have to use a 6V.. or can i use a diferent V.. for example i have found a cable at home that is
output 9V --- 2.2A
would this work.. or should i just go out and buy a 6V
thanks

Send it back and buy one with a power cord.0

You run the risk of frying the circuit if you use the 9 V supply.
Radio Shack and Wal-Mart sell Universal Power Supplies in their electronics sections for relatively cheap that have a switch to select the proper voltage and the polarity. The polarity should be marked with a plus(+) or minus(-) on the machine where you plug-in the power supply.0 -

Thanks for the help.. thats what i was worried about... i will have to go out and buy the correct one.. wouldnt want to break it the first time i use it! hehe
