Guys, need ur help

Hello My Healthier MFPers,
My BF has made some serious sacrifieses lately to support me on my weight loss journey. He is truely man handeling the house and my children which is not an easy task. It is paying off for me. I make sure to show my appreciation. If I don't another woman will try. (right?-LOL) So to thank him and continue to encourage him to give me the support I need, I want to get him a gift. I don't have a ton of money, but something that says Thanks!! He is a little guy and is not really into sports. He is into some outdoor stuff and works really, really hard at a labor job (like to the bone).

So any ideas?

I'm not sure if there's a Cabela's down there but how about a gift card? Or how about a home made coupon book with coupons for stuff like a free back rub, one dinner of your choice, a get out jail card (when he's in trouble with you), one day of no chores..etc?

Maybe take him on a nice date, sort of a destination gift. Or, not sure what you're looking to spend, but a little road trip and stay overnight somewhere. It would be great to pick someplace/thing where you would not typically be into going, but he would. Like, if he is into hiking, do a hike and go to a nice dinner after. Or tickets to some kind of sporting event. Anyway, if it is something you are not particularly into but he is and you go out of your way to do it, it will really show how much you do appreciate how wonderful he has been. Good luck!

If you have someone that can keep your kiddos for an overnight or an evening, maybe you could make him a special dinner of his favorite things, wear something sexy for him, and explain to him in words how much you appreciate what he is doing for you and your children.

Most often.... when my wife did that kinda stuff for me.. steak and a you know what. awesome nights its the little things he'll enjoy

This may be too feminine, but since he works hard, maybe put together a little basket of things to help him relax. Make time for a "him" night, run him a bath, cook him dinner, give him a massage and use the things in his basket to pamper and take care of him. Everyone, man or woman, could use a little pampering now and then.

Food is the way to a mans heart. To a man, it truly means "thanks" lol. My fiance is very supportive of me and my weightloss goals.. When he helps me out significantly i cook him a really fantastic meal. And that doesnt have to mean it's bad for you!! A nice, thoughtful gift doesnt have to cost a lot of money. It could be a nice massage and a dinner with some strawberries & creme for desert. Make it healthy and fun

This. But I would also recommend some fun of the adult kind. a massage. and maybe in you wearing a sexier outfit have some newer sexier lingerie on underneath.... when he see's that Ill let you two decide the rest of how that pamepring will go

Great ideas guys...Im going to the store and doing some planning tonight, I think he totally deserves a "thank you combo"!! It will be fun to put together.
