Hi,
I changed my macronutrient ratios and now all my past food entries are displayed in red bold letters and it's a sore to my eyes! =P I've changed it to: 45% carbs, 30% protein and 25% fat. What do you think of my numbers and what are your numbers?
,
Alma

Mine are 15% Carbs, 45% protien, 40% fat0

I aim for about:
55-60% Fat
25-30% Protein
10-15% Carb
I don't usually pay too much attention to the macro levels, but it generally falls somewhere in there.
I'll check every once in a while to see if I'm slipping and try to adjust.
Ratios don't matter so much as what your nutrient sources are.0 -
50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat. Pretty generic.0

40/30/30. I play sports and run a lot. Bringing my carbs below 40 would shut me down.0

65 carbs
15 fat
30 protien
I need carbs for energy and protoen for rebuilding - I work out alot and train for marathon0 -
50% carb (whole grain), 30% protein, 20% fat0

Mine are 30% carbs, 40% protein, and 30% fat.0

50% - Carbs
15% - Protein - due to kidney stones
35% - Fat (Monounsaturated is the majority)
But...I am transitioning to a raw diet soon in an attempt to eliminate my acne. My numbers will start out as...
80% - Carbs
10% - Protein
10% - Fat0 -

I think your numbers are good.......I do 50 carbs/25 protein/25 fat.....0 -
40/30/30. I play sports and run a lot. Bringing my carbs below 40 would shut me down.
Though it may take some adjustment at first, at even 10-15% carbs I'm able to play many sports competitively (hockey, softball, volleyball, biking).
Not saying you should drop it below 40, but just wanted to say your body would not shut down0 -
How do you change your numbers in MFP? I can't find it!0
