I need "Insanity" motivation

I just finished my 2nd week of "insanity" workout. I weighed in and, have gained a little weight in the 2nd week. I have been very good with my diet and supplements. I simply do not understand and am feeling pretty down about it.
It seems impossible to have burned so many calories but, gained weight. I am eating 1500-1800 cals per day. Male, 5'-8", 189 lbs, 35 yrs. I am wearing a HRM while working out and have burned, on average, 650 calories per workout. I am eating plenty of protein and keeping carbs between 90-150g per day.
I have actually lost some inches, 1" waist, 1" belly button, 1/2" chest. I know this is a better tool to use but, with 25+ lbs to lose, I sure would love to see the pounds dropping off too.
Please help with any suggestions or motivation I can use for starting week 3 tomorrow.
Thanks

Just give it some time, it will all come together. You will lose the weight (but you are probably gaining muscle right now too, which weighs more than fat).0

I am halfway through the first months, I haven't lost much either.....Here's the thing....when I was looking at people who have done Insanity....they all said that the scale didn't move much until the 2nd month....but they lost inches and did see great results.....don't get discouraged.....take measurements and don't just look at the scale.....0
