Girls I have a question, so I'm on my period this week and my weigh in days are Tuesdays and I was wondering how long should I wait after I get off my monthly to weigh myself ?since I herd women usually weigh a bit more when on it

I'd continue to weigh in regularly just to note the trend of gain.0

My period doesn't stop me from weighing myself. I just know to expect an extra 1-2 lbs.0

I weighed on day 3 or 4. I usually have the super bloating on the first days.0

You know what is weird for me? I actually tend to weigh LESS during my time of month. Can't explain it.
Typically it is good to weigh yourself once a week and continue to do it even if you are on your period... that way you can see and be aware of what your body is doing during that time. I say continue to weigh yourself on Tuesdays.0 -
Usually I wait to weigh in a few days after. Just drink a lot of water0

I'm kinda hopping on here, but is it normal to start your period early when you FIRST start working out... even if you're on birth control...?0

I don't even weigh in.0

I have done this. 3 days early this month and they have only been lasting a day or two....
Also, I don't gain weight during my period. I pretty much stay the same.0 -
I loose the most when on it; I gain the two weeks before. and then suddenly drop the gained pounds plus a whole bunch more pounds.0

As long as you take PMS medicine (you can get it at your local dollar store) you shouldn't have ANY bloating so then you can way your self as usual:glasses: :glasses:0

Me too- I have been continuing to loose durning these times, it's just usually less then the other weeks of the month.0 -
I don't weigh in simply because I KNOW the gain would drive me crazy (former food issues, gaining still freaks me out). It really depends on your state of mind. How do you view weight gain? If it doesn't bother you, then I would weigh in, but if it would be upsetting, then I would just wait until I get off it to check.0

this happens to me also!0 -
I didn't even think to not weigh in when I was on mine. I think that you should go ahead and weigh yourself because like some of the others have said you can notice the trends so that after a point it will become something to expect0

I only ever weigh just after it finishes. No point in weighing more than once a month as your weight can fluctuate so much with hormone changes.0
