Can't find the exact nutrition information

What do you do when you go out to eat somewhere but you can't find the exact nutrition? For example one of my work girls has convinced me into going to this little Italian place for lunch today. Of course I went online to check out their menu and see about the nutrition information. They didn't have any nutrition information posted. So, say I have a cheese and pepperoni calzone. Should I just put down any one of the calzones that comes up when I search for that in the food database? Should I put the highest one just to be safe? Inquiring minds would like to know.

What you're thinking of doing is exactly what I do. If I can find one lowest, one highest, and one somewhere in the middle, I take the middle one. There's no way to be exactly sure because each kitchen has their own recipe - they'll vary to some degree.

Did you try Dietfacts.com? They have a lot of nutritional info for restaurants. Otherwise, I try to compare it to something similar at a different restaurant and use that entry. Hope this helps.
