Hi everyone, I am newly returned to this site. Been here before, just like I have with many other diets and plans. I really want to get healthy and fit but I get very overwhelmed after a short while in and usually fall off the wagon. I feel horrible about myself. I don't feel well. You would think that would be enough to motivate me to keep going but something seems broken. Do anyone have any advice on how to keep going or how to start off slow without feeling completly in over my head.

I made it my hobby. I didn't think of it as anytthing but that. I come on everyday and try to win.

Honestly with me it was about slow changes and doing it MY way. Learning what a proper portion was. replacing one meal a day witha protein packed salad and yogurt. and as the one or two healthy things a day became routine and normal I found I was naturally making healthier choices elsewhere. I started walking outside for a min of 30 min (but usually up to two hours) then made a point to take the route with more hills. As things get "easy" I challenge myself more and more. And its worked. I still eat "bad" foods just not as much or as often, and I dont beat myself up, I work it off, or just start again the next day.

I do the same thing! I was so good with this site for about three months, then just kind of fell off. Right now, I'm really motivated again, but I'm afraid that I'll just give up or get distracted again.

G'Day lopo. We all fall off the wagon once in a while, it is a constant struggle to stay motivated. I just take it one day at a time, make good choices and do it all over the next day. If I wake up and just focus on that day alone I dont see it as such a mamoth task. Its just one foot in front of the other.
Feel free to add me as a friend and we can motivate each other :)
