If you like salisbury steak and you want to pretend you're eating something processed and bad for you...this is your recipe!

1 pound 96/4 ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs (i use italian style)
2 egg whites
cooking spray
3/4 cup water
3 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 Tablespoons red wine or sherry
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed french onion soup

Combine first 3 ingredients and divide the mixture into 4 equal patties. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and coat with cooking spray. Cook patties about 3-5 minutes per side and set aside (make sure they are cooked enough to flip or they will break apart since the meat is very low in fat). Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Add the patties, cover, and reduce heat to a simmer for about 10 minutes. Uncover and reduce the soup and wine mixture till somewhat thickened (about another 10 minutes).

Serves 4 at 230 calories per patty...plenty of calorie room left for a side or another patty!

This is a recipe I found on myrecipes.com and switched it up a bit. I hope you enjoy!

If you reduce the sauce to 3/4 cup...you get 4 Tablespoons of sauce which is included in the 230 calories
