Is anyone else on here doing the insanity dvds. I am just about to complete week 2 and would be fantastic if I could chat with others who are doing it to keep motivation high.

I "graduated" from Insanity back in April and plan on starting again at the beginning of 2012. It's a great workout, even though you'll find herself cursing Shaun T quite often, lol. I'll send you a friend request, and I'll be glad to help you out. Keep pushing!

When i started i struggled even doing the "warm ups". On Wednesday (which would have been day 12) i was so exhausted, i still did the dvd for that day but it was so hard, I welcomed the Cardio recovery yesterday and i, pumped for tonights. Lost 3lbs in week one so am hoping for similar result weigh day on Sunday. Can def see my body changing even though it only seems to be my babalons that are shrinking atm :o)

my daughter and i did insanity twice. it is great. we love, love, LOVE it. (shaun t----can you say mmmmmmmm--eye candy) i didnt lose as much weight as i wanted to but did lose inches. i still have a long way to go but will get there. i only lost about 14 lbs (starting weight 230) but did lose 16 inches total body (first round). of course, i wasnt following the diet plan---too expensive for me. i ate right---most days. :D i had to modify the moves due to my weight and the fact that i have not been in the best shape for a looooonnnnnngggggg time. i have made alot of progress---my stamina is so much better---i can walk up the stairs and not get winded/ walk-jog for almost a mile/ i dont have to stop to rest nearly as much as i did when i first started. i dont know what your starting weight or physical health is but insanity can help. then you can do p9ox (like we have) and with the combo of both---you not only can chase someone down but will still have the stamina and the muscles/strength to beat them up. LOL if you want to friend me or my daughter (troll) please do. she is really fit and can give you tips or motivate you--if you want that---she has helped me. have a great day.

We (my husband and I) did 2 weeks, stopped for a week (took a vacation) and then started again and are finishing week 4. I can't say I've lost any weight (however, I wasn't calorie counting on here either!) and inches, we will measure this weekend. It is incredibly addicting and as someone else said - you will curse Shaun T, talk back to him and ogle at how GOOD he looks! :) I did start using a heart rate monitor so I could get an accurate calorie count, and was SEVERELY disappointed! As you know, how HARD the work outs are, the most cals I've burned is 213! And I'm NO lightweight either! I do 95% of the program - some of the high jumps I can't do, because of a torn up ankle, but I NEVER stop or give up! I'll just jog/sprint in place if I can't jump. ANYWAY! I've lost 4lbs this week - and just started MFP, so I think they are working together :) GOOD LUCK!!! :)
