I'm looking for breakfasts that are fairly low cal and don't have a lot of processed ingredients. It would also be nice to have some options besides eggs. Any ideas?

Have you tried flax meal? You can make a hot cereal with 1/4 C. Flax Seed Meal, 1/2 C. boiling water, 2T. peanut butter, a dash of cinnamon and a handful of blueberries. Mix the flax and the water together and then add the peanut butter and cinnamon. Throw in the blueberries! Don't let it sit too long or it gets too pasty. Very low carb!0

I make a buckwheat "granola" that I am having for breakfast this morning. It takes about 35 minutes to make, but one recipe makes about eight portions so I can spilt it up and have it for snacks or whatever throughout the week.0

ricotta cheese with berries

Try chopped banana with a handful of strawberries and/or grapes, covered with fat free natural yoghurt and a sprinkling of chopped mixed nuts. The fruit is great for energy, fibre and vitamins and the yoghurt and nuts are high in protein which should keep you full up for longer. Go easy on the nuts though as they are high in fat.0

i love oatmeal, and eat it fairly regularly with almond breeze (it makes it taste so delicious!).
another good option is kashi go lean cereal. one cup = 140 cal, with 10 gram of fiber and 13 grams of protein. not bad...0 -
