It seems impossible! I've just fluctuated in my weight! My Grandparents say that I look thinner, and I feel healthier (which is why I've not really lost motivation), But I would like to see some of my weight leave! I've even made my diet/exercise routines more strict. What are you doing for your results?

    1. Drink lots of water. Divide your weight in half. Drink that in ounces, i.e.: 160 lbs would drink 80 oz. MINIMUM
    2. No more than 2400mg of sodium (track it, too much and you'll hold water/bloat/gain weight)
    3. 25-30% protein (my home/goals/change goals/custom). Also, 25-30g of fiber per day
    4. EAT BACK YOUR EXERCISE CALORIES.
    5. Get a heart rate monitor and a food scale/measuring spoons. It is very easy to think you're burning more than you are and think you're eating less calories than you are.
    6. No sodas, especially diet, minimal alcohol and stop eating crap. A calorie is a calories is bullsh|+. You can lose weight eating junk here and there but don't eat it everyday.
    7. Don't completely deprive yourself or your body will crave it more... but also, if you're eating it alot, your body will be hungry for it. If you want something sweet, try an alternative to candy or ice cream (frozen yogurt or a sweet fruit) but you should have the real thing EVER SO OFTEN. As in, occasionally not frequently.
  • I hear you loud and clear.... I have been at this 70 days and lost flippin 7 pounds and 10 1/2 inches.... Meanwhile everyday I read weight POURING off of some of these people..... VERY discouraging indeed..... But we need to stick with it and just hang in there..... If anything we are learning good habits and helping our body :-)
Hang in there and good luck......

I could've written this same post! I've been going to a bootcamp class twice a week and trying to do something active on at least one other day. I've been very mindful of what I'm eating and I think I've been very good, yet the scale won't budge and my jeans still seem so snug. A friend of mine told me I was looking more "fit" and I feel better, but sometimes it does seem inpossible!
