I like using workout videos but I don't know how to track them. I just did one off Netflix and it was 40 minutes and I was sweating like crazy but I don't know how to track it. There was weights, lunges, squats etc but I don't know how many and how to categorize it. Help please!

You should get a Heart Rate Monitor that tells you how many calories burned. If you can't then just log it under aerobics or circuit training which ever exercise that tape is closest too.

I would say if it was high impact aeorbics then to log it as that under exercise so you can get plent of cals for the lifting and squatting too. good job

    get a heart rate monitor

Or log it as general/low impact/high impact aerobics
High impact = feet leave the ground (jumping jacks, jog in place)
Low impact = feet on ground (step touch, mini squats, dance)
General = mix of both, or low impact that gets you sweating like crazy

do you have a heart rate monitor that you recommend? I wonder if it's worth the price some of them cost ...

Thank you so much for the info. I was confused about it at times too trying to log things but was not sure I was doing it right. This is a great way to know if I am logging things right. But I am going today to get a heart monitor that you wear as a watch to help keep up with my calories.

Thank you so much for your help! Any recommendations on a heart monitor?
