Transplant recipient losing weight

In December, I was blessed to receive a kidney transplant after going on dialysis a year earlier. In one year and three months, I gained 44 pounds from the various medications. (Prior to this, I had not gained more than 8 pounds in 40 years). Now I feel great so it's time to take it off. I'd appreciate any suggestion.

I'm happy that I discovered this community. Myfitnesspal is a great site.
