Do you have a crockpot? There are lots of really easy cheap chicken recipes that are made in one if you do.0

If you're solo
By 1 Pepper (Red green yellow whatevs) (under a buck)
Bulk by 1/2 cup of brown or wild rice (30 cents)
Can of Chopped Tomatoes (1.50$)
Ground Chicken (3) - but you only need 1/3 the pack if cooking for 1 (1$)
Onion (few cents)
S& P (free I'm sure)
Brown the Ground chicken, add S&P for taste with Onions
Add 1/2 cup Rice 1/2 water
Simmer for 20 minutes
Cut Pepper in Half - Fill pepper halfs with filling, bake for 15 minutes - Top with low fat cheese if you have it = under 4$ meal
Looks like (just made it the other day )

Chicken stir fry
Use whatever leftover veggies you have or purchase the store brand frozen stir fry/asian vegetable mix at the grocery store (Kroger has them for 97 cents). 4 ounces of chicken per person, or even less (I use about 2.5 ounces). Rice (white or brown) or pasta (you can use plain spaghetti noodles, already cooked) to finish out the meal. I don't use a sauce. I just brown the chicken in olive oil with some granulated garlic and onion. Add the frozen and/or fresh veggies and soy sauce (don't add the soy sauce earlier or it'll spatter from the oil!). Saute until the veggies are hot and serve with the rice or pasta. You can also add the pasta to the chicken and vegetables at the end, if you prefer.0 -
chicken burritos.
chicken breast, chopped up , mexican seasoned
a little cheese
chopped tomato
melt that together in the skillet
add ff sour cream or guacamole if you want
that was my lunch, i have to feed a lot of mouths in the summer, so cheap is the word!
yesterday:
stir fry with deer meat, zucchini, squash and potatoes (i picked out the taters, they were for the kids)
that was really cheap, i only bought the potatoes0 -

A quick & easy dinner: Birds Eye Normandy Blend vegetables with Classico Tuscan-Inspired Olive & Garlic Pasta Sauce on top. You can do this in the microwave for less than 130 calories a serving! Add parmesan cheese & chicken if you want to bulk it up. Yum Yum!0
