I usually have a veggy or fruit. Tomato, cucumber something like that.
Some times I get rice cakes, or if I feel like doing the clean up, hair popped popcorn
with no butter, just some of that shake flavor you can buy
  • I try to make fruit the first snack of choice although I also like cinnamon toast and granola bars with hot tea. my favorite snack is strawberries drizzled with a little bit of honey. try it... it will change your world!! :)

    love apples..sometimes I have a fiber 90 brownie..
  • oh and jolly time 94% fat free microwave popcorn. I lightly spray my serving with pam butter spray and sprinkle with white cheddar popcorn seasoning... popcorn is full of fiber too!

It is coming to the end of a long day and a very long week. Tonight's " snack" is a wonderful, full bodied...Merlot.
Hey - I have the calories and it will be one glass. Tonight's snack is definately turning out to be the best one this week!!
  • I dont know why, but when I eat an apple...I feel even more hungry!

My doctor has me on restricted carbs, but I've found lots of different flavored hard cheeses out there and I've enjoyed trying different kinds; I cut them into 1-oz cubes as soon as I get home from the grocery store, that makes them snack-sized. I also keep some hard-boiled eggs on hand for a good quick snack. I buy both while and brown eggs, and hard-boil the brown ones, so I always know which are which!

carrots, celary, radishes, cucumbers........ect. I know I can eat them and get full and not pack on the pounds.

I do treat myself to a 100 calorie skinny cow ice cream on a stick or yogart and fruit with granola at night if I did really well on my portions throught the day when I had my meals.

Other then that I find it hard to stick to the 1200 calories a day so I do not snack much cause I do not want to burn up those calories on something I do not need when I know I will want more at dinner.
