I hate the scale, I have become obsessed with it. I can't just weigh in weekly, I weigh in daily. And I know this is NOT healthy. I am telling my husband to hide it till the next month and I will only check my weight monthly. This weightloss, is not very easy for me. ALOT of bad habits I have to break and this past week I have been feeling depressed and down.

If you truly hate the scale right now I really would have your husband hide it, and then you can focus on changing your habits for awhile. Truly focus on them and them only, the next time you weigh yourself you'll probably see a pleasant drop.0

I hate the scales too so I weight myself once a month!!
I tend to enjoy noticing certain items of clothing fitting better and that kind of thing rather than actual weight loss, then you get surprised when you do weigh for the month0 -
Hide it! Better yet, ditch it! If we build good habits and follow a healthy plan, the weight can work itself out.0

i am the same way, but i do a daily body test on wii fit plus..some may call it obsessive and unhealthy, but personally, it helps me keep on track..that way, i can see my daily progress ( or fall back ) and i know to keep the way i am, or cut back on foods, and more working out..best of luck, i hope the monthly thing works for you..i sure couldn't do it0

I actually weigh myself every single day. I know they say this isn't healthy, but doing this has helped me learn a lot of things about my weight and my body. I've learned what is a normal range for my body. I've learned what foods cause me to retain water. I've also learned that drinking less than 80oz of water will cause a gain on the scale and over 120oz will also cause a gain. My body prefers me to stick within 80-120oz a day. I think there's a lot to be learned from weighing in every single day.
But. If you feel that it is causing an unhealthy obsession - by all means, put the scale away for awhile.0
