Try the bleachers at the local high-school. Fires up the old glutes!

Swimming in salt water is not only good for weight loss and cardiovascular but awesome for your skin and health.

    Hello fifibox:smile:

I just finished raving about my Danskin 5# kettleball workout. I like it alot because---1. I wanted to workout flabby arms but I'm nursing a shoulder injury that is rehabbing. And the workout video is low impact and smooth. 2. There are three workout sessions. 3. I wasn't expecting the focus on my core and it really hit my core , obviously, ,my butt and thighs. I'm just starting

I'm just starting out with this and love it:love: . Like the smoothness but it makes me sweat --I'm focusing on doing the forms correctly so it will pay off best/quicker and I believe it did. Not my arms, surprisingly because I am so aware of this shoulder, but my butt and thighs brought home the effects of the workout--which I didn't complete all of them. Let's see, I kettleball'd at the beginning of the week, was sore, I but continued walking. This morning, my aches seem to have gone away and I am going to kettleball it again today--after my walk!

Good luck! I'm more than pleased--even if it hurts:flowerforyou:

I saw a swimming challenge a while ago. Or you can start your own! Maybe a "Swim the English Channel" challenge? (Look up how many laps in a mile, how many miles in the English Channel, have a challenge to cumulatively swim that many.) Or, if that's to short, go for the Atlantic!

there are challenges that are more weight loss focused and when those do weekly challenges they tend to be a lot more accessible in terms of exercise - the zombie one (closed but you can waitlist) is doing stairs this week, sexy by christmas is doing http://www.twohundredsitups.com this week -- and there should be some walking challenges out there.
