Hi everyone. Okay, so I just completed the Leslie Sansone 5 Mile Fat Burning walk. I did all 5 miles, each mile is about 12 minutes for a total of about 60 minutes. Problem is I'm not sure how to log this. Someone said log it as "walking 3mph uphill" and I'm just checking to make sure this is the overall consensus.

Thanks. =)

    Log it as walking 5 mph. That should be an option in the exercise list. If you do, the 2 mile walk (30 min) that would be walking 4 mph. The 1 mile (15 min) is still 4 mph. If you do a 1 mile that takes 20 min, that would be 3 mph. :smile:

    I would log it as 4mph or 4.5mph since you actually did 5miles in an hour.

    I agree with kappyblu. You should log it as 5mph. You did 5 miles in 1 hour so that would be 5mph. I love her dvd's. I've done several different ones and really like them!

    Good luck on your journey!

    Before I got my HRM, I actually used to list it under light aerobics since you are doing the "boosted walk" at times and doing arm work too.

    I've always listed as light aerobics too since you're doing so much more than just walking.

    i do the 2 mile alot, and since it says about 20 times, that it's a "brisk" walk, that's how i log it. But your way seems to make sense also.
