Radiofrequency neurotomy

I am scheduled to have it on my thoracic spine (T8, T9, T10 and T11) bilaterally to address pain from a facet joint injury. They are doing one side tomorrow and the other side in a fortnight.
Has anyone had this procedure done? How did you pull up afterwards? Did your pain get worse before it got better?
For those that have opened the thread thinking WTH????? radiofrequency neurotomy is a surgical procedure whereby they heat up a nerve so that it then dies off (this takes up to two months) and it is done to treat chronic pain. No nerve = (hopefully!) no pain.
