Food Journaling

Why is it that I find that journaling my food makes me want to eat more?! grrr
Is this normal? I look at what I have on my journal and I just want to go and eat something. I have heard so many people say that journaling helps when someone is trying to lose weight but it doesn't seem to be helping me. :(
Is there anyone else that is having the same issue?

    When I see my number getting up there. It kind of freaks me out and makes me want to not eat. But i'm a bit crazy. lol
