Weight Loss Journey 2011

First off, I would just like to acknowledge everyone who is trying their very best at losing weight. This journey could get hard at times, and sometimes you feel like giving up, but continue to strive hard. Congrats to everyone who will continue on with their journey. This is not the first time that I've lost weight, but it is a little different. During the year of 2007, I was suffering from back problems because of my breast size. I didn't have the money to have a breast reduction surgery, so my doctor thought it was best to lose some weight. I was recommended to take diet pills which was prescribed by my doctor. I lost 50 lbs without exercising, but of course I gained most of it back. During the beginning of this year, I decided that I needed to lose weight again because I not only want to be satisfied with my size, but I also want great health. I watched youtube videos of others so that I could get motivated, and I stumbled upon one person who lost nearly 100 lbs, and I thought if she could do it, then so could I. In March, the journey began. I started using MFP, and I started exercising to Billy Blank videos. It has been about 4 months, and I've lost 39 pounds, but I'm not stopping here. This time around, I'm not only losing weight, but my body is toning. Some of the clothes that I wore when I lost weight the first time, are now too big this time. At first, I was frustrated because I felt like I wasn't seeing any differences, but as the weight fell off I noticed a lot of changes. So here are two pictures of me before and after, and I will update again once I've lost more lbs. Continue to pray and stay on the right track and you will definitely see change.
