Sugar!

In the last 4 years I have managed to lose 3 stone in weight!. Great I hear you say, and yes I am well pleased. But I have put over half a stone back on again. Having found this web site last week, and entered my food intake and exercise. My exercise regime is fine. I am putting too much food on my plate!
But the scary thing I have discovered is that while manufacturers tell us how much fat they have reduced in their products, and about time too. They have neglected to reduce the sugar in their products. As an example, my breakfast this morning. It contained no sugar in my coffee, but my bowl of cereal, low fat yoghurt and the fresh peach account for 20 of my 24g intake for the day! And my glass of fruit juice contained 10 so I am now over my daily allowance!

So now ladies and gentlemen I have now got to go for a total rethink on my diet! Ain't it great!........... But that weight is coming off
