I drink at least 6 pints of water a day...not too sure on cup measurements as I'm from the UK. I find myself craving water now if I don't drink enough of it. :flowerforyou:

8oz is 236mL. I'm from Aus and I take a cup as 250mL.. that extra 112mL can't hurt at the end of the day.

At least drink 4L per day. I usually drink 6+L per day.

I've been drinking 3 liters a day.. but as I minimum you should be drinking at least 8 cups (2 liters).

.. but as a minimum you should be drinking at least 8 cups (2 liters).

Why do people keep giving this wrong advice!?

Your body needs on average around 8 cups of FLUID a day, from any source. It DOESN'T have to be pure neat water. Fruit, veg, juices, tea, etc all contribute to this fluid.

If you're eating a balanced diet you shouldn't need hardly any extra. You should be getting the fluid from your normal daily intake of drinks, fruit, and veg.

1 cup = 8 oz. But I don't pay too much attention to how much I'm suppose to drink. I just make sure to drink it when I'm thirsty.

I use the take your weight in half and drink that in ounces approach to water. 1 US fluid ounce = 29.5 milliliters. A cup is 8 ounces or 236.5 milliliters.
