I have recently found TWO sources of shorts (and probably pants) that produce no back waist gappage.
Target Fit 1
Kohl's Sonoma Original Fit.

I'll have to check those out!! Also, Eddie Bauer sells pants designed for more generiously hipped ladies They're actually a size smaller around the waist than they are in the hips and they"re awesome!! Blakely fit I think they're called. Love them!0

I just bought shorts from Old Navy that gap in the back but fit well in the waist, such a pain but I got them pretty cheap so I won't complain This is good to know about the jeans though. Has anyone tried the Levi curve ID jeans? I always wonder how those fit.0

I have some Levi curve jeans that I LOVE.
I also found some great jeans at Gap, their curvy fit, that are the best fitting jeans I've ever owned.
On the cheaper side, the Old Navy "Princess" cut is pretty good too.0 -
OH! Great information. I need new jeans.0

Damn, we don't have those stores in the UK! Will have to get googling/international ebaying! I have a 10" difference between the narrowest part of my waist and my hips! :O0

I have a pair of Levi 515 boot cuts and a pair of Lucky Easy Riders. Both are longs; both are wonderful jeans.0
