Hi guys, ive not been logging my foods for quite some time now but am gonna start again tomorrow. I have also started a new job as a cleaner which involves 3 hours or hardcore cleaning everynight! my question is do i log this as 3 hours of exercise and eat the calories or change my activity level from sedentary to active, but then do i still log the cleaning as exercise?
please help, im confused!
Thanks :)

Should be one or the other. Change your activity level, then don't count the calories from the cleaning. OR keep it where it was and count them.

I work 4-6 hour shifts where I'm always on my feet. I used to count this as cleaning (light, to be on the safe side) and have my lifestyle as sedentary. This was way before I got a HRM though, I didn't want to wear one to work when I did get one (doubt it would be that accurate for 6 hours anyway) so I set my lifestyle as lightly active (only work 3x a week or it would be "active") and then counted only specific workouts.
No problems with this so far, actually seems more accurate and I've been doing it this way since around Nov last year.
