Hello everyone.
Been using MFP mobile for a few weeks now but just started checking the website today.
I've always been very active in sports when I was younger & stayed thin. As I got older & got "lazier" things obviously changed. I'm still in decent shape but could loose 10-20lbs. My only complaint is stomach area otherwise everywhere else is fine. I've also recently noticed my BP was consistently high & my Dr gave me good suggestions. After searching through apps for my phone I found MFP & started using it right away. It has been a great tool for helping me monitor my daily intake & help achieve my goal. I've also started exercising & running again & it's been going well. Even though I shoudn't have, I immediately jumped into a 30min ruuning program using MiCoach. I probably should have started with a shorter routine but I tend to really push myself hard. The program eases you along but the first 2 workouts were tough & I couldn't cover the 3 miles I wanted to. I'm now up to my 8th workout & I'm at 3 1/4 miles in 30 mins & knocked off almost 2 mins per mile off my pace.
I'm happy I've found both of these great tools as they will help me to continue improving my overall well being.
Lastly I wish everyone here continued success in your journey to better health & happiness.
