Good morning!
I'm in a better mood this morning. I have lost 2.5pounds since Monday! It was probably water weight or something, but who cares? I just hope it stays off! So I am back to where I was about two weeks ago.
Today grocery shopping and maybe Shred or Taebo. Depends on which one I have more time for. My in laws may be stopping by later today as they pass through. I don't know though. I am feeling pumped and excited again about getting the weight off. DH said he could tell my face looks thinner already.
Alright the sooner I get to the stores the sooner I can get home and work out!
Have a happy flappy! (whatever that means:wink: )

MM - Great to see you in a goofy mood!

Well I decided to sleep in today and save YogaX for after work since I didn't get to bed until 11 last night, but unfortunately I slept a little too long. So I had to rush to get to work and completely forgot my breakfast...no fun. Anyway, I'll be doing my Yoga after work and really eating clean today, looots of water too.

    Have a good one! :flowerforyou:

Good morning everyone! I stepped on the scale this morning and am down 2 pounds after getting serious about eating right and working out again last week!

Completed my 100 push up initial test last night and did 2 girly push-ups. I have zero strength  I'm going to start the actual challenge on Monday--give myself time to get psyched.

I'm doing my first yoga class at lunch time today.

I am starving right now and trying to think of something healthy to eat for breakfast.

Good morning everyone! Im so happy this morning!! Thursdays are my weekly weigh-in days and I lost 6lbs since last Thurs!!:drinker:

Today Im gonna try a 40 min walk (my usual has been 30-37 mins:smile: ), but my cardio is all I need to get in today, as I do strength training only on Mon-Wed-Fri's.

Good luck to everyone on your mini-goals for the day!:flowerforyou:

We have a "Happy Flappy"!!! - that's what we call our kitty Flapjacks - Flappy or Flaps (or The Bad One). It's just one of those things, no matter what you name your pet, you change it - Iggy is Igs or Ignacious or Ignoble or Stinky or Badass, Triangles is TriTri, etc.

I had a dream about doing the push-up challenge last night, so maybe it's coming time. Still can't do them on my wrist though.

I skipped yoga last night, but I went for two walks and to my weights class. Today, I'm going for a ride.

    Happy workouts!

Okay, I joined yesterday, do you post topic each new day?

I didn't do too well yesterday. I kind of celebrated joining with NOT running and eating ice cream! That always happens when my mom comes over. We have the best of intentions and then just get all goofy:tongue::laugh: . So, no exercise yesterday, and a tub of ice cream all to myself. Calorie-wise not that much more than I should have, but ice cream is bad, bad, bad:devil: !

New day, starting it off right, good breakfast, WILL run 4-5 while kids are at school. I'm also going to check out that Jillian Michaels Shred video to see if I want in on that challenge. I've done her Making the Cut and love it, this would be less stressful as I could do it whenever and at home.

Great job to everyone who accomplished their goals for the day yesterday! And congrats to Nonibug on 6 lbs. lost. and to the rest of you who saw the number drop!!!

I'm trying to decide if I want to step on a scale, or just eat healthfully and continue my running and see where I end up in 30 days bodywise.

My new daily mantra is going to be:  I never regret it when I do it, I always regret it when I don't:smile:

Wow, I'm too busy to post for a day and we have a whole bunch of new faces! Hi everybody!! :flowerforyou:

We do have a new post every day. I usually post daily but we had a last minute daylight savings time scare at work (an emergency patch that we might have had to install on 80 servers), and then I was at the coffeehouse working on my project most of the evening. I am finally making progress!

2 marathons, Angie? Holy cow! That's amazing. And here I was celebrating my 10-minute mile last week...

Cute pic, Rach. And I like your ticker, too, MM! Today I'm doing day 2 of week 6 of the pushup challenge- I am going try it on level 2 and see how far I get. I think next week I will drop back either to level 1 or maybe even week 5 so I can work on getting lower - I know I have not been going down as far as I used to. I was wondering if I should try testing on my knees for once - just to see how many I can do that way. We'd love to have you join us, Mary! Does supporting yourself on your fists instead of on flat hands still hurt your wrist?

So, in summary - pushups, Zumba, and water! Have a great day everyone.

Fists is ok, but it makes the push-ups harder - just try it - you will be slightly higher than when you are on your flat hands, so you have further to go.

I tried doing a push up on my fist and I couldn't do it. Well, I probably could but I didn't like it. Maybe I should try that after finishing up with the regulars. Or maybe try some, one handed.

    Hi ladies,

Today is spinning, and I'm going to try for push-ups. I'm considering modifying the three days a week on the pushups, as it seems to take my muscles a little longer to recover. I'm doing one full-body weights thing a week, so I think I'll do pushups twice a week. It may take me longer, but I'm determined to do 100 pushups. They're just so bad *kitten*.

Thanks for "happy flappy" which made me laugh. I'm not having a happy flappy today, so laughing was fun.

    So, in short. . .
    spinning, pushups, water and vits.
(my new drugs for during my period are fantastic! I've been skipping the gym for half the month, and now I haven't missed a workout all week. So, hooray modern medicine!)

    Take care of yourselves!:flowerforyou:

Last on again, oh well. Hi all this will have to be short as I have to be up at 5 am. Got the aerobics done and ate right 1/2 the day . The evening did me in and I'm not feeling so well from what I made from supper. Better luck tomorrow I say. Good luck to everyone on the push challenge, its too much for me right now. Aerobics are good but I think I liked my walking better. I'm just trying to jump start my metabolism. We'll see if it works. Goodnight all.

I didn't run:cry: my mother in law came over, I was in my running clothes, ready to leave, but she wasn't budging:explode: . Then I went to book club and drank like 6 glasses of the mulled wine I brought, with brandy, and so this really is a drunk post, sorry! Tomorrow I am running with a buddy, so that will happen for sure. No really, it will!
