Pain

I am getting a nagging pain under my right rib cage whenever I run more tha a mile, I remember this same pain when I was younger and playing soccer. Anyone have similar pain or know what it is?

    I think it is the diaphram muscle cramping. I don't remember how to fix it though.

    If it is a diaphragm cramp...inhale, press firmly under ribcage where pain is, bend over (while pressing) and exhale sharply through mouth. It works for me. I don't get them now as much since I've been practicing better breathing technique while running.

    This issue is usually due to dehydration. I had this issue in high school when I would run to get my stamina up for wrestling. Your best remedy, as you build up your stamina is to eat a light snack 10-15 mins before your run. (not a heavy meal, you'll hurl), and keep yourself hydrated with water/sports drinks. But again not too much. moderation is the key. I hope this helps.
