but my trainer has me in ""burn"" phase.

I just need advice on when and what I should eat. how soon before I go to work out? WHAT would be a good thing to eat.

My appointment with my trainer is at 6:00 and I usually just go directly from work and then eat supper when i get home.

Just looking for some guidance.

    banana and peanut butter about an hour or so before the workout should be perfect.

    I find I can't eat prior to seeing my trainer or it really makes me feel ill, especially if my session has any kind of twisting motion (like woodchops or russian twists :sick: ). On the days I train with her I eat a more substaintial lunch. Play around and see what works best for you!

    Can your trainer advise you? I am supposing you pay for their advice? My hubby is an athlete and uses gels...but you should ask your trainer they should be able to answer all your questions. Good luck x
