we took my daughter to the Zoo today. We were there 5 hours walking around. Even though we stopped to look at things this still counts right... I mean a least 2 hours were spent walking from thing to thing...

can I calculate this somehow??

Just curious!

When I went to an amusement park this summer, I counted about half of the time we were there as walking at 2 mph. Sure it counts!

I would do at least 2 hours of the walking at 2.0 mph

There's walking at a leisurely pace. You could log that. On days that I work on the floor versus working at the desk, I usually put in 30 min or so even though I'm actually running around for 12 hours.

whenever I go to the zoo I usually log half the time we were at the zoo for walking 2.5 leisurely pace. Hope this helps. Or there is an exersice named pushing a stoller or walker. You could use either! I love using the zoo as a workout!! :)~Corina

I actually have a program on my phone that tracks your walks/runs with gps and when we went to the zoo in June we walked for 218 minutes for a total of 2.7 miles and an average speed of.7 miles an hour. Total calories burned 377........ The name of the program is called cardio trainer pro.
