If you've never used/cooked with it then try it out. 90% monounsaturated fat, high smoke point and tastes almost exactly like butter! Oh my goodness its so wonderful. I cooked 4 cups of black beans in water with salt til tender, added 1 tbls of Mac oil, smashed those suckers up and had the best refried black beans I've ever had.

I ran out of olive oil and forgot I have that in the back of the cabinet. Good to know the nutritional facts, thought it might be worse for for you than olive oil. And yes, it's delicious, also in vinaigrett/ salad.
