We used "In my life" - The Beatles. There were no "butterfly kisses" at my wedding - gag! haha!!

Hey that's the song I danced to with my father! Nothing wrong with it.

My wedding was just June 18th and my dad and I danced to "May I have this dance" by Scott Krippayne. It's a beautiful song and we both cried through it!!!

Hey - Happy One Month Anniversary! You look REALLY great, by the way.

Thanks so much! Funny I didn't even realize it had been a month until you said that! I thought about it this weekend but it didn't click this morning. Just texted my hubby to say happy anniversary

    Stealing Cinderella - Chuck Wicks

I came to see her daddy for a sit down man to man

It wasn't any secret I'd be asking for her hand

I guess that's why he left me waiting in the living room by myself

With at least a dozen pictures of her sitting on a shelf

She was playing Cinderella. She was riding her first bike. Bouncing on the bed and looking for a pillow fight

Running through the sprinkler with a big popsicle grin. Dancing with her dad and looking up at him

In her eyes I'm Prince Charming but to him i'm just some fella -- Riding in and stealing Cinderella

I am not a big Country music fan, but I listened to Heartland's "I loved her first" and OMG could not stop crying. I love it! I will have my daughter listen to it.
    Thanks for all the suggestions.

When i got married i kept the song a secret from my dad. Until it started playing he started to cry. I really loved that song and to this day i still picture my dad and me dancing to the song when ever it is played. For the attendents song we used i stand by you from the prentenders and the bride groom song my best friends by tim mcgraw.

well I was married almost 15 years ago when the song was newish, it was very dear to me, Specially since my father passed away. I know its your opinion and thats fine, but don't make others feel bad about picking it

"Just the way you" are by either Billy Joel or Diana Krall. They both have a version and both are great.

My dad and I share a bond over wizard of oz, so I always thought we'd dance to Over the Rainbow - one version or another. Through The Years by Kenny Rogers is good too! =)
