Well I weighed myself today and am at 197.6. This is the weight I have been at for a month. At the beginning of the month I went to the doctor because my knee was really starting to bother me. I found out that I have a torn meniscus, and I have not been able to work out because of this. The pain gets so bad I can barely walk..... so the couch to 5K got put on the back burner even just walking on the treadmill had to stop. I did however started sitting on a balance ball while watching tv.

So my husband tells me this is a NSV; That I have not really exercised in a month and have stayed at the same weight. I go Wednesday to have surgery on my knee and from what I have been told I will be good as new in just a few weeks and then I hope back on track to a happier healthier me!

Way to keep your weight in check without exercise. Injuries are tough. I had knee surgery in January (MCL and microfracture). Don't do what I did, which was pout about not being able to work out and therefore have the brilliant idea to pay little attention to nutrition, too!

Good luck with the surgery, and I hope your recovery is swift!

Your husband is right. And just imagine how, if you've been staying the same without exercise, when you bring exercise back in the mix you are sure to start dropping again!
