Does anyone have any advice on kicking the last 10 pounds? I'm 5'8" and am at 144.4 this morning. I'd reeeaallly like to get down to 135. I exercise about 6 days a week with either running or rock climbing. Any suggestions?

well, i had a rest! a whole week of rest, no excercise (except walking to work and back) stayed under my cals and just relaxed for a whole 7 days, i drank loads of water ( i hate it) and got plenty of sleep. then i got back to it, i did a different workout every night, ate a little more (went up from 1200 - 1400) didnt eat back my excercise cals (i normally do) and changed my eating habbits to leave out bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. It literally fell off. The trick is to confuse your body.

When you started "dieting" did the wieght come off quickly to start with? Well having the "rest" is almost like starting over, your body isnt expecting it! you cant carry on doing the same thing forever and not expect your body not to adapt to your new lifestyle, can you! so, basically, have a rest, then start again, confuse your body and i reckon youll be there in no time.

PS do not forget the water, and good luck xx

How many calories are you taking in?

It's possible that you need to eat more. Check your BMR - your net calories for the day should not be less than your BMR. I think that avoiding "starvation mode" becomes even more important once you are within the healthy BMI and do not have much left to lose.
