Working with the public can either be really hard on your self-esteem, or amazingly good. In the past week alone I have had both good and bad encounters. The good came yesterday when completely out of the blue I was called "beautiful" by a visitor in the hospital. Still a long way to go to reach my goal weight, it was a great self-esteem boost.
