My story

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be here with you! This is my story:
Since having bronchitis last summer, and multiple flareups over the year with my back and allergies, I have probably been less mobile than I had been in the year prior. Having gotten down to a size 10 that was beginning to fall off of me the year before, I have ballooned up to a tight size 12 this year. I now need to lose almost 30 lbs. to be back to where I was @140/145.
I was feeling bad about my weight gain, feeling like I am out of control with it. But, I stumbled on this site and have been very encouraged by what I am reading. So, I am willing to give it a try. I hope, if anything, it will help me develop a healthy exercise routine, so that I can both manage my weight and decrease or eliminate my back pain through strengthened muscles.
Even if I don't know you, feel free to friend me if you think we can encourage each other.

WOW, sounds almost identical to me - same lbs to lose, same goal weight, and that blasted "tight size 12" - I didn't think anyone else knew about that category! I struggled for years with 3 herniated discs in my back and had to take OXY for pain. Now off of that and pain free in my back for three years+!!! Have you tried Yoga, I do it every morning. Part of my back promble was that it it was a vicious cycle between my discs and my muscles (tighten, pain, pain, tighten, etc - felt like I had a belt tight around my ribs. All kinds of rehab, but none as good as stretching from the inside out - try it you'll be amazed. Namaste!
