New to strength training

So I tried to research this on the forums but all I got was, why doesn't MFP have a calorie burn for strength training?

My issue is that I am quite new to strength training and need to figure out a routine that I can stick to and won't get bored with. I want it to last longer than 5 minutes, too.

I will do it from home: I have a weight machine with a leg lift and an overhead bar. I'm too small for the butterfly press :(.
Also have 1, 3, and 5 pound free weights. I typically use the 5 pound these days as I am getting stronger and more toned. I might have an exercise ball and resistance strap down in my basement somewhere...Oh, and I definitely do yoga!

Any ideas on a routine I can throw together? I don't know very many of the terms or movements like "Seated Row" etc., so any of those will need explanations.

And I'm planning on buying a jump rope tomorrow for getting my heart rate up before lifting weights, so that should help.

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated!
