Yes, you read right. I usually will go to Chipotle if I'm going to eat out (which I rarely do), but tonight I went to Boston Market. After looking at the nutrition facts online, I had a Regular portion of Turkey breast and 2 sides of steamed veggies. Here you go:

Turkey (about 4 slices) 180 calories, 600 sodium
2 sides of steamed veggies (zucchini, gr. beans, broccoli) 60 calories each, 40 sodium each

It wasn't bland, very tasty and I think pretty good portion size. I'm full!!! I ditched the gravy and the cornbread. Good in a pinch!~

People think you can't eat out when trying to lose weight. Right there you just proved them wrong. A little planning can go a long way.

Yea, you can def. still go out and eat if you just do a little research before hand. Its just making those right choices once I get there that are the problems for me!! :P:P

That sounds yummy. I wish I had one of those close to me. Great job on finding a place to eat out with low sodium. The sodium thing is the hardest seems like.

Heck yeah you can eat out! Hate to admit it but I do it all the time and usually can keep my meal 3-400 cals! Just plan it out~ Grilled chicken and ditch the bun that is under 200 get a side salad with it for another 100 cals (easy on the dressing) Can be done at almost any restaurant!

    That is awesome!

We went to TGI Friday's this weekend and I got the turkey burger on whole wheat bun with lots of tomatoes, lettuce, red onion and mustard and a side of fresh fruit and ice tea. All for 412 calories. It felt so nice to be able to go out with my family and still make good food decisions. I also love that I did not feel sick to my stomach from calorie overload. I can't believe how I used to eat. :o)

My coworkers think it's awesome that once a week, I still treat myself by going out to a restaurant around here. Granted, I either go to Wendy's, McDonalds, or Chik-Fil-A, but I always get a grilled chicken salad and a fruit cup. It's not much, but yet, I dont feel like I'm depriving myself at all because I can still go to the "forbidden" places and make my diet work!
