Stronger, Better, Faster, Nov 1

Well this is a first, I never start the post. So today I have to drive the girls soccer team to the semifinals so I don't know if I will get to any exercise today. Does 4 hours of driving 1 hour of screaming at the top of your lungs out to encourage them count? Otherwise my goals for the day are my vitamins waters and to eat a healthy lunch somewhere along the way.
Daughter is taking the pup back tonight:brokenheart: but he is slowly wearing me down. Yesterday he pulled me along on his leash and I twisted something in my right hip. Its sore. I think I need more upper body strength to hold onto him. He's only 4 months old, and he's yellow lab. So I think he'll get a little bigger and then I'm in trouble.

Well, I was going to go to a morning spin class at 9:30 today, but as it's 9:25 and I haven't left the house yet. . .it appears I'm using plan B. Plan B is elliptical later in the day. And my pushups. (I printed that cute little pocket-sized program from the one hundred pushups website, so that now I can take it to the gym. . .so no excuses) Also, I have to prepare for a (postponed from yesterday) advisor meeting.
Gloomy and cold here. It definitely feels like November.
So: elliptical, water, vits, pushups and a meeting.

We got to sleep in so that was nice!
I have a messy house to clean up. A little more shopping to do. And I'm not sure what else I am going to attempt. I'm sore from yesterday.
Goals today:
stay within calories
plan Alex's party
Maybe do a little Christmas shopping too
clean up the house
drink lots of water
maybe sand on Alex's bed
I had an "idiot" day yesterday. I felt like every time I opened my mouth I was saying something stupid. I was depressed too, but today I feel more motivated and cheerful. I am eating better so I think it's really helping. I have goals to work toward also. That's always a motivating factor.

Don't feel bad, MM - I say something stupid almost every day. Yesterday I said something I almost started to share, but couldn't - not on a forum everyone reads. It's clean, but oh, so not right.
Karen - next time you walk the dog, get it a gentle leader - actually advise your daughter to - they are one of the world's best inventions - and work very well on labs. It's looks like a muzzle - but isn't. It pulls their nose down when they tug and will teach them how to walk on a lead. Oh, and walking up and down the soccer field side lines counts as exercise.
V- I'm right there with you. I wanted to try boot camp today at 10:30 - not going to happen. I did elliptical yesterday and a walk/jog.
Today I might walk to the gym and do more elliptical.

I did a 45 min walk this morning with 1 of my dogs, then came home and did(for the 1st time) the Biggest Loser Power Sculpt dvd for my strength training that I was supposed to do yesterday but didnt manage to get in. Had just a banana for breakfast (I am NEVER hungry in the mornings and hate to eat breakfast but I've been forcing myself to eat at least a banana or a bowl of cheerios with 1% milk because I know how much its stressed to NOT skip breakfast, especially when your working out). Gonna have some soup for lunch and do some grocery shopping. Then later for dinner its leftovers from the yummy skow cooker salsa chicken (from MFP's recipe board) that I made last night. Lots of water, as I do everyday, my multivitamin and maybe a V8 later on and a nonfat yogurt

I'm way excited! We just got back from buying the boards and paint to make Alex's bed! :bigsmile: Yay! We've never attempted anything like this so hopefully we won't screw it up! I'll post pics when we get it done. It will probably be a couple of weeks.
Would you all say a prayer for Alex? He's been really out of it this week. Something has just seemed off. I don't think he's sick. I just wonder if he got into some wheat or dairy somewhere, or maybe something else he's allergic to. Thanks. I am hoping he will perk up on this diet next week.

I'm very sad. His ear looks red so I hope he doesn't have an ear infection.
