Hello everyone!
I am excited for a fresh start on getting healthy. My weight has gone up (and up) and down for a few years now. Last year I was dedicated and focused and lost about 30 lbs before my wedding but since then I've unfortunately put most of it back on. Now I am starting to look to the future of having children, and am scared of starting off a pregnancy by already being 80 lbs overweight.
So, I am trying to kick myself back into gear and am hoping to meet some other people who are will be able to keep me motivated, and who I can motivate in return. I've only been on here for half a day and am excited by all of the tools available and the community aspect. I am planning on going about this the old fashioned way - watching the amount of calories I take in and exercising a few times a week. I'm also looking forward to discovering some healthy recipes to add to my cooking repertoire.
Is there anyone else out there who trying to lose weight before starting a family? Or anyone who just wants an enthusiastic friend? I am hoping to get friendly with some folks so that I am more motivated to keep it up, even on the most tempting days.

You can do this! If I can, you can!
Just stick with it. Don't give up if you have a bad day here and there. When you do, put it behind you and start the next day anew.
I try to read the "success stories" every couple of days. It really motivates me to keep at it.
For me, this has been a complete lifestyle change and 4.5 months into it, I know I will never go back to my old ways.
Good luck!
Add me if you would like to give and receive support.
