Does it really matter when I finish eating in the evening? I don't eat quick stuff, usually prepare and cook my dinner. So, it can get a little late. Does that really matter? And I try to clean up as I go, so by the time I sit down, it's...a little late.

I have seen a ton of back and forth on here. The thing that I have stuck with is eating every 2 to 3 hours, eating within an hour of waking up, and not eating within an hour of going to sleep. I think it can be a personal preference, either way don't stress yourself out about it. Do what is comfortable for you!

I don't worry about it... sometimes I eat a popsicle RIGHT before bed and it hasn't affected my weight loss. Experiment and if you lose weight fine, then don't worry about it - if you don't lose weight and everything else is perfect, then you may need to eat a little earlier or just back off the carbs at dinnertime and eat them earlier in the day. They say that carbs aren't as easily digested when you sleep so it turns into fat but eh, I haven't really seen it affect my weight loss, like I said, so I don't really care.

Different things for different people. Plenty of people swear by not eating after 6pm or whatever. I sometimes eat my full DINNER at 9pm - due to working/gyming late and it doesn't cause me any harm :)

The notion of not eating before bed is a myth

Good to know, thanks. I'm usually up for at least an hour after I eat...but I'm starting to settle in, not much activity.

haha now that is the pinnacle of multi-tasking - eating and sleeping simultaneously
