Hello folks.

One of my major motivating factors in kick starting this healthier lifestyle change was the fact that my 34" waist jeans were starting to strain. The choice was clear, accept it and move up to 36" waist or turn it around and get back into the 32" waist jeans I used to love.

To be honest, I never really accepted the 34" waist in the first place and only moved up from 32" on a 'temporary' basis - except that was a few years ago...

Well I think the time has come to resign all my current trousers to the 'fat pile' at the back of the wardrobe and go shopping for some new trimline 32" waist jeans! Wearing a belt is no longer an option.

I took this picture this morning (about 10 minutes ago). Pretty pleased with this result! :)

Thanks all. This is quite a big deal for me :)

I have to admit my number one motivator is vanity. Better health and fitness is a bonus side effect but I'm really doing it all so I can be happy with the way I look - and keep it that way for years and years to come!

Not the most collosal weight loss in the world in terms of pounds but I have lost over 13% of my starting weight.
