Has anyone done this dvd? I have Leslies 5 mile fat burning walk and 3 mile walk away the lbs for abs and love them both. But I wondered if it was worth getting this one as its only 2 miles long, or do the bosted intervals rack up lots more calories than her other dvds? I burn about 900 cals doing the 5 mile and about 5-600 doing the 3 mile, is this going to be significantly less of a burn?

I am doing the 5 Mile fat burning and love it, I bought the 4 mile slim down and will try it next, but I think just for the variety it is worth to have more of her, because it is fun to walk with her and when you think 2 miles are not enough at the end, just throw in another mile or 2.0

I have heard that interval training is one of the best ways to get high calorie burn in less time. i don't know the science behind it, but that is the rumor. so i would think that even though it's a shorter workout, the intervals will burn as many calories as a long workout of just walking.
and if its a matter of not wanting to buy yet another dvd...do what i do: i have 4 fast miles where she adds a few boosts in the middle 2 miles, but i wanted a higher intensity workout, so i jogged instead of marching and just 'boosted' the whole workout myself...it was pretty intense!0 -

Yes, you do the dvd's at home in front of the tv, they consist of walking on the spot, taking a few paces up and back, sides steps etc just basic steps to mix it it up a bit. They are fun, and burn lots of calories, but arn't so intense that its going to kill you0 -

Thanks thats a great idea, the 5 mile fat burning has a 2 min boost at the end of each mile, so I could add my own extra boosts at each halfway point too, and gradually increase the length of them.0 -

What put me off ordering it straight of is that its £16.99 and the workout is only 30mins. I think if it was a 4 mile program I wouldn't have hesitated but 2 miles didn't seem enough. (Hark at me, yu'd swear I was fit!)
I think what I'll do is add my own boosts at each half mile during the 5 mile fat burning walk and see how that goes as suggested by the poster above.0
