Just keep doing it - like everything else it becomes a habit - my scale is right next to my stove - and EVERYTHING gets weighed - even after 10 months!! I keep seeing how I misjudge portions - and without my scale I would potentially eat quite a few more calories every day, and not understand why I am not losing weight....

But then it is most probably just my over the top controlling nature at work..... do what works for you :-)

It's a little easier if you have a scale that you can "tare", meaning you can zero it out. That way you can build a meal right on the scale, adding an item, taring it, adding another item, etc.

It's like any other habit. At first it seems awkward, but before you know it it's part of your routine.

I'm not exact, but I try to measure when I cook... especially butter and olive oil... since those pack a lot of calories per tsp. If I'm not sure, I tend to round up. Keep it up, it gets easier. :)
