Wondering...

Would it be better to have something that is higher in protein and sodium but lower in carbs, or something that is lower in cals, fat and sodium but much lower in protein? Trying to decide on a meal for lunch today and can't figure out which would be the better choice.

I'd say lower in cals, fat, sodium. Can you add some lean protein in later in the day?0

Whatever is less processed.0

For me it would depend on if I was craving. I have noticed that the days that I crave more I have usually been low on protein. If I up my protein the cravings subside and then I can watch my calorie intake.0

Would depend on what you had for breakfast and what you plan for dinner. Based on that, you can determine which would fit in with your daily calorie/fat/carb/sodium allowance. Bear in mind that protein will keep you satisfied longer in the hunger department as it takes longer to digest than carbs. As tammykoon said, tune in to what your body might be telling you it 'wants/needs' to avoid any uncontrollable craving later.0
