who uses spirulina? do you use powder or pills? i have been using the powder in my chocolate protein shakes and originally found the flavor somewhat objectionable and was planning on buying pills next time but now i am actually growing to like the chocolate/seaweed flavor. it could be psychosomatic but i feel like i get a bit of a nutrient buzz every time i have one. if nothing else i just feel like its powerful insurance n case i'm slacking on my veggies. my understanding is that you can actually live on spirulina and water for an extended period of time.

Now I'm going to have to put my googling skills to work to figure out what you're talking about!
  • spirulina is an asian seaweed that is considered a "perfect food". get googling and you'll find out all about it.

I have read so much about this. Are you experiencing the benefits they speak of? I am very interested in trying this product.

I use a green superfood powder to boost my green smoothies and it contains spirulina. I've also used soy protein powder with spirulina. Good source of protein and iron.
