who uses spirulina? do you use powder or pills? i have been using the powder in my chocolate protein shakes and originally found the flavor somewhat objectionable and was planning on buying pills next time but now i am actually growing to like the chocolate/seaweed flavor. it could be psychosomatic but i feel like i get a bit of a nutrient buzz every time i have one. if nothing else i just feel like its powerful insurance n case i'm slacking on my veggies. my understanding is that you can actually live on spirulina and water for an extended period of time.

I use a green superfood powder to boost my green smoothies and it contains spirulina. I've also used soy protein powder with spirulina. Good source of protein and iron.0
