Once beginning a diet and workout plan, is it normal to drop a couple pounds really quickly, as in like the first 3 days? My bmi considers me obese, so I am just trying to find out if it is okay that i've already lost 2 pounds and have only been dieting and exercising for 3 days now.
Any info will help! Thanks

Yeah, it is. It's mostly water weight. If you are suddenly eating healthier, you're probably eating a lot less stuff that will make you bloat and a lot more fiber than your body is used to.0

Yep, I did the same thing for the first two weeks. I lost 4 pounds each week for the first two, and now it has slowed down to 1-2 a week!0

The first week of my diet I dropped 6 pounds almost instantly. I think its just the sodium build up from all the previous crappy eating... the next week was 3 pounds and then it slowed down for me. The first week is VERY motivating though0
