I have been at this pretty diligently for about 7 weeks now. I think the scales hate me! One day they say one thing and the next day they go up! I go up and down throughout the week a range of 1-5 pounds! GRRRRRRRRRRR that makes me crazy! I know it is said to only weigh yourself once a week but sheesh what if i hit the high day instead of the low day?

SCALE = DEVIL:devil:
a scale is very very very sensitive. If you wear jeans and a sweatshirt, that can a few pounds. So can bulky shoes. if you've had something salty to eat, you might retain water weight. Ignore the scale. people say weight yourself once a week but i'm going to say once every other week. the less you wight in, the better. take your measurements instead. far more accurate and much more forgiving than a scale.0 -
I weigh once a week at the same time... right after I wake up and not wearing anything at all. I get pretty consistent losses even though I do have my womanly once a month "bad" weigh in. But I try not to get all upset b/c I know it's due to water retention. Good Luck!0

Same thing here, except that luckily, I haven't had any "bad monthly" weigh ins. Something good about being old I guess! :laugh:0 -
I am a once a month person. I only get on it at the end of each month. It has been great for me. I don't even own a scale. I only use the gyms.0
